Guajira's Sonic Elvira

Rosaline is the first of Julie's many daughters to be born on our farm. We have kept Rosaline out of the spot light but she is ready to be shown off! When she was born we had a family emergency that kept us from getting her disbudded but that is alright, since we can band her horns when they have matured. We hope to have her freshen for the 2026 kidding season and have this girl evaluated for both milk production and type. We are beyond excited to see her blossom and prove that her dam has the ability to pass good genetic traits down! Update 2/11/2026: Rosaline is doing fantastic raising her kid and getting on the milk stand to have her surplus milked out. Do not discount this doe because she is horned, as we plan on dehorning her soon. We just wanted to wait until after freshening and until her horn was more developed to do so. This is my favorite Black Mesa line, as their conformation is correct and temperament is great. Rosalines dam is one of our favorite Seniors and has held up and proven that her lineage can withstand the test of time with longevity of life and production. We have many varieties of this line in our herd and are very pleased with them. Julie will be freshening soon and we hope that she gives us a buck to continue this line in our herd! Update 8/23/2026: Rosaline is available again, due to no fault of her own. She has raised her doeling. I would love to see her go somewhere that kid shares, because she is an excellent and loving mother! She does very well on the milk stand, and I can share her production records from milk test days. At this very moment, we are offering Rosaline on her own, without her doeling. She can be bred before she goes to a buck of your choosing for a small fee. She is still nursing her doeling, but has been naturally weaning her, therefore I do not know how much she is currently producing. Her doeling is looking super correct in conformation, which is not surprising as this dam line is super strong in that department!
