Guajira's KK Hercules

Hercules is one of the bucks born in 2025 that we were so ecstatic for. His sire is no longer alive, and we are so grateful that he gave us a variety of beautiful bucks to continue his legacy.

Hercules is a product of a line breeding that was a last ditch effort to preserve this bloodline. His grand dam is a beautiful doe that produced beautiful and correct Nubians.

Hercules is maturing extremely nice. We sold two does that were bred by him that produced two bucklings and one doeling. We were told that they had the tell tale breed character of this line!

We are making Hercules available to the right home. We do want to use him as long as he is here, and have him collected in the Fall if he is still here to do so. This decision was not made lightly, but we have many relatives living here on the farm and we were blessed with a son from his grand dam and will keep him and his half brother Junior instead.

Hercules' maternal sister Guajira's Sweet Molly took Reserve Champion for Nubian Juniors at the SWDGA Double Showdown. His littermate sister was commended for her beautiful breed character, body capacity for her age, level top line and rear leg angularity. My son showed Hercules so I wasn't able to hear what the judges had to say about Hercules but just from my own eye I can tell you he has nice open ribs, beautiful long ears and breed character. His dam is a good milker who loves raising her offspring and has really buttery milk. We have been using her as a brood doe. Hercules should be either A/A or A/B in Alpha Casein through parentage. His sire scored EX90 EEV on Linear Appraisal, and grand dam VG89 EEVV. He has several relatives that have scored very well on Linear, take a look at them on our website. Not only is Hercules a beautiful buck, he is as sweet as they come! He absolutely loves all the attention you give him, he is familiar with walking on a lead or collar and does not pull, he is also trained to the milk stand for hoof trimming. He was dam raised by the way! I am extremely proud of how he has turned out so far, with even more time left to mature, because this line is a bit more slow growing. He sure is a pleasure to work with!
