Serenity is another foundation doe in our herd. She is a deep and wide bodied doe. Her udder is very well proportioned and she will partake in performance programs. She has a very friendly temperament that we love and is definitely the Herd Queen!
This year (2024) she gave us beautiful doe/buck twins that are growing prolifically. We will be retaining the doeling and offering the buckling. Her doeling is solid black!
Serenity has White Fields, Goldthwaite, Black Mesa and Jacob's Pride in her lineage.

We have loved having Serenity on our farm, but have decided to move her on. This is an extremely hard decision because I have worked with Serenity so much, and have spent countless hours getting her production performance up to where it should have been from the beginning. She has scored very well on Linear Appraisal and has a very beautiful and correct udder. I would not be letting her go if it weren't for the fact that we brought in a whole herd of Veteran's Ranch Nubians that I want to put all my focus and energy on.
I would love to see her go to someone that is just starting out and wants to participate in performance programs. Serenity has the potential to produce show quality kids with a buck that has strong genetics of level toplines and upright stance (ex: Silverfire Vaballathus), as those are her only weaknesses! The current culture in the show ring is dairy strength which Serenity has in heaps! All of her offspring born on our farm have had beautiful roman noses and strong open nostrils/muzzles. Again, Serenity is a doe I am super fond of and I will only let her go to someone who will continue her on performance programs, whether its DHI (milk testing) or producing kids for the show ring.
I have four bucks that I feel really confident will improve her minor faults, and that she can be bred to before leaving the farm, at no extra cost. Those are:

Veteran's Majestic Spirit
Guajira's Kool Kenai Junior
I suggest these bucks, because I know their lineages and they are all strong on their levelness of toplines and rumps. Vaballathus has gotten a reserve champion ribbon with us at a local ADGA sanctioned show under veteran judge Dan Laney, with one of his daughters taking Champion in the recorded grade juniors, and another daughter of his almost placing reserve against Nationally recognized herds. I am 100% confident in his ability to produce beautiful show worthy offspring from first hand experience. Of course, he is my first pick because of his pedigree and the lineup of Champions and 90+ scoring animals on it. We own several family members of Spirit and he too comes from a line of level tops and rumps. Junior's dam, half sister and just about every doe and buck related to him have exceptional conformation and high Linear scores. Sid is closely related to Junior on his dams side, and his Sire comes from a Nationally ranked herd, CA Blackberry's. You cannot go wrong with any of these boys!
